Legacy Since 1941

In the summer of 1941, amidst growing nationalist fervor in India, Fatechand K Shah, a courageous young Gujarati, began supplying pure saffron from Mumbai’s Masjid Bandar area. Saffron, known for its culinary, medicinal, and spiritual uses, was in high demand, especially for its calming properties during turbulent times. Fatechand’s dedication to providing the finest saffron continued until India’s independence in 1947, when he celebrated by serving milk laced with saffron to all. In 1989, he passed on the business to his son, Satish Shah, who upheld his father’s motto of never compromising on quality. Under Satish’s leadership, the company grew and earned the trust of hundreds of clients.
